Malaysian Civil Servant Sacked After Missing Work for Nearly 5 1/2 Years

I’m sorry, but this is simply hilarious!

A school employee, a civil servant from Malaysia’s Ministry of Education, was sacked after he was absent from work for more than 2,000 days (equivalent to nearly 5 1/2 years). The Education Minister Mahdzir Khalid was quoted as saying “...the principal was persuading the employee to come to work for years“.
